Automatically Upgrade Your Wordpress Blog Easily
Like so many people i thought that i would be in for a rough ride, i have a few wordpress blogs and many of them are older versions. I’ve been reading that those of us who are running wordpress, would be in for a troubled weekend.
Well, after a little bit of searching i think that i have found the easiest way to upgrade my wordpress sites, it’s a very easy to install plugin that basically does the job for you with just a few clicks of your mouse.
You can download the automatic upgrade plug in by Clicking Here , if you follow the instructions i think that you will have no trouble at all.
At this moment in time i am having trouble connecting through my FTP client to the internet,it’s no surprise i guess as i cannot even make a guess at how many wordpress blogs/websites are on the web, and how many people at this moment in time are rushing to quickly upgrade their blog. But once i can get connected i will make a quick video, to show how easy it is to work this plugin, i know that i prefer to watch how it’s done rather than read through instuctions.
Anyway, i hope you find that the auto upgrade plugin works for you, i’ll certainly keep an eye on this posting over the next couple of days, and if anyone needs any advice, i will do my best to help. Like i always say “I’m no guru or web wizard”, but i will help where ever possible.

Here is a quick video to show you how simple it is to use the upgrade plugin. I am assuming that if you are using wordpress on your own host that you will know how to download the plugin, and then upload it to your plugin directory.
Please note that in this video you will see that i skipped the back up process, and it is entirely up to you if you do the same. I did not back up in order to make the video a short one, but when upgrading my other sites,including this one, i backed up all the files and database and would recommend that you do the same.
Depending on the size of your blog the back up process could take a few seconds or maybe a few minutes, for example this blog took just a couple of minutes. This can all be done with the plugin.
